Description
Xeroderma pigmentosa is a rare condition which declined from families in which the skin and outer tissues very sensisitif eyes against ultraviolet rays.
Ultraviolet light - such as sunlight - causes disruption of genetic material (DNA) in skin cells. Normally, the body can heal this disorder. But someone with xeroderma pimentosa, his body could not counteract this disturbance. As a result, the skin becomes very thin and patches arise.

The condition also causes skin cancer. Skin cancer often occurs before the child was 5 years old.
Symptoms
Spots on the skin, uncomfortable when arriving in bright light.

Treatment
Patients with this disease must be protected from sunlight with protective clothing. High protection, sunscreen, and sunglasses are highly recommended for this disease.
