SEOUL, May 14 (Tekertin.com) -- Hynix Semiconductor Inc., the world's second-largest maker of memory chips, said Saturday that it has won a patent infringement appeal against Rambus Inc., a U.S. technology licensing company.
In March 2009, a U.S. court ruled in favor of Rambus in a case alleging that Hynix infringed on 15 Rambus patents related to dynamic random access memory chip technology.
