CAIRO, Tekertin.com - The prosecutor extend the detention of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for 15 days, according to court sources, on Tuesday (05/10/2011).
Mubarak, who was dropped from power on February 11, 2011 after decades in power, are being questioned about the deaths of several demonstrators and cases of embezzlement of public funds. He has denied any wrongdoing.
He was first arrested on April 13, but have not left a hospital in the tourist area of Sharm el-Sheikh near the Red Sea. According to previous reports, the detention period Mubarak's two sons, Alaa and Gamal, are also extended.
