SAN FRANCISCO - Microsoft has warned users that one of the 14 downloadable software that contains suspicious code (malicious code).
"Attacks such as tricking users to run programs without being noticed suspicious, is now becoming more common than attacks on security vulnerabilities," writes Jeb Haber, program manager of Microsoft SmartScreen in a blog. Similarly, as quoted by AFP on Thursday (19/05/2011).
Microsoft claims that the technology party 'SmartScreen' has blocked more than 1.5 billion malware attacks that want to slip into the computer since IE8 was released in March 2009.
"Malware is downloaded accidentally by a user is a big problem, and it has now become even greater,"explains Haber.
Microsoft's latest browser, IE9, check a site and the author for allowing users to find what they're browsing.
"Most people are suspicious when making a purchase online. But by using software that can protect users from fraudulent programs / malware can reduce the risk of attack," added Haber.
