WASHINGTON - U.S. Defense Department or the Pentagon said the helicopter wreckage was destroyed during the military operation that killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had returned to the government of Pakistan at the end of last feed.
The helicopter was damaged during the attack on bin Laden safe house in Abbottabad, Pakistan on 2 May. Navy SEALs troops finally meledakannya so as not to fall into the wrong hands.
Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan, reports the Associated Press, Tuesday (04/25/2011), said the wreckage of return is based on the request of the U.S. government to Pakistan.
