Praise China Pakistan in Counter Terrorism

BEIJING - Collective agreements have emerged on Friday at the end of a four-day visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani to China.

China stated that the efforts of Pakistan to promote peace and stability in South Asia should be supported. So that was reported by the Associated Press, Saturday (05/20/2011).

"China recognizes extraordinary efforts and great sacrifices made ​​Pakistan has stated on the war on terror and support efforts to counter terrorists in Pakistan," China said in a statement.

On that occasion, Pakistan also reiterated that Pakistan will not allow its territory be used as an area to attack other countries and supporting counter-terrorism cooperation.

Pakistan and China agree to promote strategic cooperation and strengthen communication and coordination in regional meetings, especially in issues related to Afghanistan and regional cooperation.

The two countries also agreed to intensify cooperation in infrastructure development, energy, and agriculture.

The two countries signed three agreements and MoU on cooperation in economic, financial, and mining.
