U.S. backs Egypt's sectarian rioters Crime
CAIRO, Tekertin.com - The United States expressed its support to Egypt in the transitional government to take stern action against sectarian rioters that killed 12 people and injured more than 200 people in Ambaba over the weekend.

Coptic woman was previously reported to have converted to Islam after marriage by a Muslim man. However, later the family did not approve of her, then abducted her and confine him in a church in Ambaba.
Police and military were deployed to Ambaba to dampen the sectarian turmoil. As many as 192 people have been arrested from both parties for questioning.
As a result of the action anarchy, the Prime Minister Essam Sharaf Egypt plans to cancel his official visit to the Gulf countries.
The Islamic and Coptic Christian leaders condemned the sectarian actions and called for people to calm down and avoid the possibility of slander spread by certain groups.
